Dr. Conway Edwards, Lead Pastor

Conway has been a follower of Christ and a leader of people since he was a young boy. At an early age he began using his gifts of leadership and influence. He went from troublemaker to ministry leader and by age 17 was the Youth Pastor of his church. Unable to escape God’s call on his life to serve in ministry, he accepted a soccer scholarship to San Diego Christian College (formerly Christian Heritage College) where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Bible.
After graduating from college, Conway continued living in San Diego and began pursuing his MBA in Human Resources. During this season, he served as Youth Pastor at Laurel Bible Chapel. This youth ministry was comprised of young people from eight different cultures. Upon the completion of his MBA, Conway enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) where he received a Master of Theology, with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry. While in seminary, Conway worked as an Intern at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in the Small Group department, before being asked to be Pastoral Assistant to the Senior Pastor, Dr. Tony Evans. Conway served as Pastoral Assistant for two years. He was then asked to be Director of Singles for the 3000+ singles at OCBF. When Conway began leading the ministry, 75 people were actively involved. In less than three years, the ministry grew to over 1100 actively involved singles.
While at DTS, Conway became a Leadership Fellow with the Center for Christian Leadership under the guidance of Dr. Howard Hendricks. Here he focused on training and preparing seminary students for life and ministry.
Following seminary, Conway continued pursuing his passion for Christian leadership by beginning his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Regent University and got married to Jada, the Creative Arts Architect for One. He completed this degree in 2006.
Currently, Conway is the Lead Pastor of One ministering to the evolving communities of Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney and surrounding cities. Conway’s unique ability to communicate the truths of Scripture in a relevant and uncompromising manner has helped to reach a generation of men, women, singles, couples and families embedded in a culture defined by individualism, materialism and humanism.
In addition to serving the community of Collin County, Conway travels throughout the country to speak at churches, conferences and retreats. Conway has authored Leading a Turnaround Ministry: A Process for Exponential Growth. He and Jada have co-authored two books - When Love’s in View: Finding Focus in Dating and Relationships, The Undercover Woman: A Guide for Single Women and Their Spiritual Fathers.
Conway and his wife Jada also serve together teaching, counseling and encouraging families, couples and singles. Together, they are committed to fighting for healthy, godly marriages.
Kevin Cook, Family Pastor

Kevin “KC” Cook was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Dallas, Texas. Growing up in a single-parent home allowed him to see the value of hard work and the importance of true commitment. As a teen and young adult, a series of bad decisions landed KC in a land far, far from God. It took hitting rock bottom and an unlikely friendship with a seminary student, to see he needed help. That help came by being introduced to a man named Jesus one day in January of 1993. Since that day KC has been on an incredible journey that only gets better with time.
KC’s first church home was Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, where Dr. Tony Evans is the senior pastor. He was saved, called to full time ministry, and licensed there. He served six years working in the youth ministry, serving as the Youth Pastor for two of those years.
Shortly after graduating in 2001 from Criswell College with a BA in Biblical Studies, he and his family accepted the call to help grow a small church plant in the Seattle, Washington area. He spent the next 5 years as the Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Youth at Christ the King Bible Fellowship.
Sensing a call to do something different, KC and his family returned to Dallas. They have decided to take their biggest step of faith yet in partnering with Conway and Jada to plant One Church.
KC serves as the Pastor of Families for One, where he oversees the children’s, youth and adult education ministries. His strength is his ability to communicate the deep truths of Scripture in a relevant and often humorous manner. He is passionate about communicating God's Word and seeing people encouraged and lives changed.
KC has spent the last 9 years married to the woman of his dreams, Zenobia. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Kennadi and Karis.
He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, competing in triathlons, and chasing golf balls.
Jada Edwards, Creative Service Architect

Although an avid traveler (over 20 states and 5 countries!), Jada has called only one place home. She was born, raised and resides in the Dallas area of Texas and has spent most of her life at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (OCBF) under the teaching of her spiritual father, Dr. Tony Evans. She attended undergraduate school at the University of North Texas and earned her Marketing degree. During her time at UNT, Jada discovered that God had given her a passion for ministering to youth and women. After college, she came back to OCBF and began leading Bible studies for women, teaching and discipling youth, and leading worship for the Youth Ministry.
Just as she was knee-deep in Youth Ministry, along came Conway. He changed her world. They married in 2001, within 10 months of meeting each other, and it has been a whirlwind ever since. Jada helped Conway found Caribbean Choice for Christ in 2002 and the National Centre for Christian Leadership Jamaica in 2003. Both ministries focus on training and developing leaders on the island of Jamaica, in order to change it for Christ.
In 2004, she began leading alongside Conway in the Singles Ministry at OCBF (with over 3,000 singles). Jada was responsible for producing the monthly Friday Night Live event which included drama, music, performance arts, spoken word, teaching, discussions and fellowship and drew about 550 singles each month.
Jada received her MBA with a focus in Organizational Strategy from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2005, co-authored her first book, What to Do When Love’s in View, in 2006 and her second book, Undercover Woman, in 2007.
Jada currently serves as the Creative Service Architect for One, where she seeks to serve the evolving communities of Collin County through creative expression and cultural relevance.
With a deep passion for teaching the Bible and discipleship, Jada has committed her life to equipping women of all ages, regardless of marital status, with practical and biblical truth to help them live wholehearted lives for Christ.
She enjoys running, laughing, learning and listening to music.
